Cióió Studio was founded in 2024 by us, goldsmith Eva Semblano Thostrup and graphic designer and art director Hilda Holmdahl. After years in traditional 9-to-5 jobs, we decided to create Cióió as a couple, merging our passions with the aim of growing creatively together. Cióió serves as our creative outlet, where we develop each piece driven by a shared desire to explore and create together, rather than following a strict strategy.

With Eva’s background in classic jewellery making, her Brazilian/Danish heritage plays a central role in the designs, combining Brazilian symbolism with Danish simplicity. The result is jewelry that is both functional and playful. Meanwhile, Hilda shapes the studio's visual identity, bringing Cióió’s essence to life in the digital realm. Passionate about tactile creation, she explores various formats and expressions to convey the studio’s personality.
